Our Story:

Connect Wireless, an exclusive agent for AT&T Wireless products and services was founded in 2001 by Dave Stearns and Dave Wayne. Connect currently operates 10 retail locations throughout the Southwestern Idaho and 8 locations in Colorado.

Dave Wayne, Connect Wireless Co-Founder and President, accounts “The partnership between Connect Wireless and AT&T allows us to offer the advantages of the nation’s largest wireless network while providing the support and service that you would expect from a locally owned company. We are honored to operate as Southwestern Idaho’s only AT&T Exclusive Authorized Retailer. Our goal is to develop conveniently located wireless outlets to support and cater to our rapidly growing AT&T customer base.”

Connect plans to continue its expansion into 2009 and beyond. By 2012 Connects growth plan will take the company to 30+ locations throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Dave Stearns is Co-Founder of Connect Wireless and currently serves as Chairman. He provides the strategic direction of the company and is responsible for developing and achieving Connects tactical plans. His focus is in creating and maintaining a team culture that can achieve all company objectives.

Stearns graduated from Boise State University with a BS in International Relations. After graduation Stearns has used his entrepreneurial vision to create and purchase an array of different companies through the years. He is married to his wife Kristi and enjoys traveling and golf.

Dave Wayne is a Co-Founder of Connect Wireless and currently serves as the company’s President. Under Wayne’s vision and strong operational leadership Connect Wireless has grown to 18 locations throughout Southwestern Idaho and Colorado.

Wayne joined the Wireless industry as a sales rep for AT&T Wireless in 1997. Since that time he has advanced in the industry holding multiple sales, operations and executive positions with 3 different communication companies prior to the inception of Connect Wireless.

Wayne holds a B.S. in Marketing from Boise State University. He is married to his wife Beckie and enjoys exercising, golf and spending time with his son Mason.

Jade Wells - Connect Wireless Director of Sales and Operations

In the Fall of 2004 Jade joined the Connect Team to assist in its expansion into the Colorado market. With his help Connect grew from three locations to eighteen and has become one of the primary providers of ATT Cellular in the Rocky Mountain Region. Jade helped to create many of the policies and procedures that drive the sales and operations for Connect and in 2007 was promoted to the Director of Sales to oversee all aspects of retail sales, business to business and training. In August of 2009 Jade was promoted again to the position of Vice President.

Prior to Connect, Jade worked in the medical and educational fields and holds an MEd from Georgia Southern University. Jade and his wife Lisa live in Colorado with their new baby boy Lee and spend their free time enjoying the mile high city and outdoors.
